Etsy is a marketplace for handmade, vintage and craft-supply items. Its seller policies set out what can be sold and when a seller may work with production partners or outside fulfillment, and those policies apply to every shop.
Etsy’s seller policies are the authority and can change. Points sellers usually review:
- Whether the items qualify as handmade, vintage or craft supplies under Etsy’s definitions.
- Etsy’s rules on production partners and any disclosure required on listings.
- Processing times shown to buyers and the tracking expected on each order.
- The shop’s return and exchange policy, which the warehouse follows.

- Can any Etsy shop use Cloudway?
- Fit depends on your products and on Etsy’s policies for your shop. We work with sellers whose finished inventory and shop setup qualify; you confirm eligibility with Etsy.
- Does Cloudway count as a production partner?
- No. Cloudway stores and ships finished goods; it does not take part in making the product. Review Etsy’s production-partner policy for what applies to your shop.
- Can you ship personalized items?
- Items personalized after the order is placed are usually made by the seller or a production partner. Cloudway ships finished, ready-to-sell stock.
